Saturday School Advanced

Great times with our veteran students :)

1. You guessed it, zombie game!

2. Broke into little groups to continue Eiken study. (HW continue the Eiken handouts set out in class)

3. Book time. Solid performance by all. (HW practice reading aloud... a lot).

4. Spelling test based on the vocab from last weeks' wordsearch.

5. Things that Fly - we ran through the homework from last time and read through the passage  for this week HW activity (HW re-read the passage and complete the activities as well as you can).

6. Reading comprehension: Drawing conclusions from the context of the story. This shouldn't push anyone too hard but it is a great practice for seeing the meaning of sentences within a story; excellent for those students preparing for Eiken or similar tests.

7. Park time - Kick a ball, climb a tree, chase each other around and practice balance; all good things to bring the enthusiasm to study right back up!

Saturday School Junior

今日は、動物の形がくりぬけるジョイントマットを使って遊びました！すべてくっ付けたマットから動物だけとり、先生が隠します！

さぁ～みんな１ヶ所に3枚置いてある動物を見つけて、

I found them!

１枚づつどこにはめるのか探します！

Where is it? Here! I did it!と英語がでていました！何回も繰り返すので、英語もでやすくなります！

〈レッスン〉

クッションの上をジャンプしながら、動きをつけてセンテンス練習！

I can jump!

I can jump high!

I can kick a goal.

I can throw the ball.

I can throw the ball far.

教室のドアをopenして、遠くまでボールを投げてみよう！！など、みんな普段とは違うことができて喜んでいました！

本読みの練習！

テレビ画面に写った自分の本を見て、読む練習。

待ってる子も、その画面をみながら一緒に読んでいました。先生からの突然な質問、'How many cats are there?'クイズ感覚で大喜び！

みんないつ出るかわからない質問のために、集中してしっかり本を見ていました！

ドラえもんの写真をみて、

Who's he?

He is Doraemon.

Who's she?

She is Shizuka.

Is Shizuka a boy or a girl?

など、He. She の練習をしました。

単語カード20枚！

読む練習をした後は、

先生の後ろにカードをつけて、何がついているのか当てるゲーム！！以前より読めるようになってきました！！

ゲームも盛り上がりました！

今日は、公園に行こうとしたら突然の大雨！！

そんな時もEnglish Tree では、やることがたーくさん！

今日は、サム先生と一緒にドリルを使って新しい体験をしてみました！！

さぁーゴーグルをして準備はOK！みんな大喜びでした！！
